“It is felt that there had been persistent demand from the public for reorganisation of revenue districts and opening of new administrative units in the State of Manipur and the previous Governments also shared this view. But the matter has been lying pending for several years.”

It is, therefore, resolved that the Government of Manipur be urged to take steps for reorganisation of revenue districts and opening of new administrative units in the interest of administrative efficiency and also to bring the administration closer to the people.”
