                 7(A)       Discussion and voting on demands for excess grants, 1997-98.                

                         (i)      DEMAND  NO.5 - FINANCE DEPARTMENT:

                                   Shri O. Ibobi Singh,  Chief Minister to move : 

                                          “that  an  excess  sum not exceeding Rs.1,28,77,249 be
                                           granted  to  meet  the  amount  spent  for defraying  the
                                           charges during the financial year ending 31st  March,
                                           1998 in  respect  of  Demand  No.5 - Finance Department”.

(ii)     DEMAND  NO.11 - MEDICAL,    HEALTH    AND FAMILY  WELFARE   SERVICES :

                                   Shri O. Ibobi Singh,  Chief Minister to move :

                                          “that  an  excess  sum not exceeding Rs.1,90,08,807  be
                                           granted  to  meet  the  amount  spent  for defraying  the
                                           charges during the financial year ending 31st  March,
                                           1998 in  respect of Demand No.11 - Medical Health and
                                            Family Welfare Services”.

       (iii)    DEMAND  NO.16 - CO-OPERATION :

                                   Shri O. Ibobi Singh,  Chief Minister to move : 

                                          “that  an  excess  sum  not  exceeding Rs. 98,38,790  be
                                           granted  to  meet  the  amount  spent  for defraying  the
                                           charges during the financial year ending 31st  March,
                                           1998 in  respect of Demand   No.16 - Co-operation”. 

                         (iv)     DEMAND  NO. 21  -  INDUSTRIES    AND    WEIGHT AND MEASURES :

                                   Shri O. Ibobi Singh,  Chief Minister to move : 

                                          “that  an  excess  sum  not   exceeding  Rs. 1,25,74,589  be
                                           granted  to  meet  the  amount  spent  for defraying  the
                                           charges during the financial year ending 31st  March,
                                           1998 in  respect of  Demand No. 21 - Industries and Weight
                                           and Measures”.

                         (v)      DEMAND  NO.23 - POWER :

                                   Shri O. Ibobi Singh,  Chief Minister to move : 

                                          “that  an  excess  sum  not   exceeding  Rs. 2,39,55,012 be
                                          granted  to  meet  the  amount  spent  for defraying  the
                                           charges during the financial year ending 31st  March,
                                           1998 in  respect of  Demand No. 23 - Power”.

                         (vi)     DEMAND  NO. 25 - YOUTH  AFFAIRS  AND  SPORTS :

                                   Shri O. Ibobi Singh,  Chief Minister to move : 

 “that  an  excess  sum  not   exceeding   Rs. 24,031   be 
 granted  to  meet  the  amount  spent  for defraying  the
 charges during the financial year ending 31st  March,
  1998 in respect of Demand No. 25 - Youth Affairs and Sports”. 

                        (vii)   DEMAND  NO. 26 - ADMINISTRATION  OF  JUSTICE :

                                   Shri O. Ibobi Singh,  Chief Minister to move : 

                                          “that  an  excess  sum  not   exceeding   Rs.24,58,700  be
                                           granted  to  meet  the  amount  spent  for defraying  the
                                           charges during the financial year ending 31st  March,
                                           1998 in  respect of Demand  No. 26 - Administration of Justice”.

                        (viii)  DEMAND  NO. 34 - REHABILITATION:

                                   Shri O. Ibobi Singh,  Chief Minister to move : 

                                          “that  an  excess  sum  not   exceeding  Rs. 88,000 be
                                           granted  to  meet  the  amount  spent  for defraying  the
                                           charges during the financial year ending 31st  March,
                                           1998 in  respect of  Demand  No. 34 - Rehabilitation”.

                        (ix)    DEMAND  NO. 44 - SOCIAL WELFARE :

                                   Shri O. Ibobi Singh,  Chief Minister to move : 

                                          “that  an  excess  sum  not   exceeding Rs.2,51,62,411  be 
                                           granted  to  meet  the  amount  spent  for defraying  the
                                           charges during the financial year ending 31st  March,
                                            1998 in  respect of  Demand  No. 44 - Social Welfare”. 

DISCUSSION  AND  VOTING  ON   DEMANDS  FOR  GRANTS :

                   (B) Discussion and voting on demands for excess grants, 1998-99.                

                         (i)      DEMAND  NO.8 - PUBLIC  WORKS  DEPARTMENT :

                                   Shri O. Ibobi Singh,  Chief Minister to move : 

                                          “that  an  excess  sum  not   exceeding  Rs. 3,36,065  be 
                                            granted  to  meet  the  amount  spent  for defraying  the
                                            charges during the financial year ending 31st  March,
                                            1999 in respect of Demand  No.8 - Public Works  Department”.                

                         (ii)     DEMAND  NO.20 - COMMUNITY  DEVELOPMENT,  ANP, IRDP AND NREP :

                                   Shri O. Ibobi Singh,  Chief Minister to move : 

                                          “that  an  excess  sum  not   exceeding  Rs. 3,42,10,331   be 
                                           granted  to  meet  the  amount  spent  for defraying  the
                                           charges during the financial year ending 31st  March,
                                           1999  in  respect of  Demand   No. 20 – Community
                                           Development, ANP, IRDP and NREP”.                

                         (iii)    DEMAND  NO.23 - POWER :

                                   Shri O. Ibobi Singh,  Chief Minister to move : 

                                          “that  an  excess  sum  not   exceeding  Rs. 3,60,31,088  be
                                           granted  to  meet  the  amount  spent  for defraying  the
                                           charges during the financial year ending 31st  March,
                                           1999  in  respect of Demand   No. 23 - Power”.                

                         (iv)     DEMAND  NO.34 - REHABILITATION :

                                   Shri O. Ibobi Singh,  Chief Minister to move : 

                                          “that  an  excess  sum  not   exceeding  Rs.1,12,18,944 be  
                                           granted  to  meet  the  amount  spent  for defraying  the
                                           charges during the financial year ending 31st  March,
                                           1999  in  respect of  Demand   No. 34 - Rehabilitation”.

                                          “This House unanimously resolves to urge the Government  of 
                                            India  to  move  the  appropriate  authority  for   declaration of  the
