(1)    Demand No. 15 - FOOD AND CIVIL SUPPLIES :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding  Rs. 6,84,94,000  be  granted  to defray the charges which  will  come  in  course  of  payment  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2007 in respect of Demand No. 15 - Finance Department.”

                    (A)      MOTION  FOR DISAPPROVAL OF POLICY CUT :

                                Dr. Nimaichand Luwang and
                         Shri L. Ibomcha Singh, MLAs to move :- 

                                        “ That the amount of the demand be reduced to Re. 1”. 

                                            On Account of :

                                            (i)        Failure of P.D.S.                   

(2)    Demand No. 16- CO-OPERATION :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding  Rs. 8,71,06,000  be  granted  to defray the charges which  will  come  in  course  of  payment  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2007 in respect of Demand No. 16 - Co-operation.” 

(3)    Demand No. 19 - ENVIRONMENT AND FOREST :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding  Rs. 36,70,50,000  be  granted  to defray the charges which  will  come  in  course  of  payment  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2007 in respect of Demand No. 19 - Environment and Forest.”  

                    (A)      MOTION  FOR TOKEN CUT :

                                Dr. Nimaichand Luwang and                        
                        Shri  I. Hemochandra Singh, MLAs to move :- 

                                             “ That the amount of the demand be reduced to Re. 100”.

                                             On Account of :

                                            (i)        Failure to conserve reserved forest and to check
                                                 rampant falling of trees.
                                    (ii)       Failure to address pollution related issues.
                                    (iii)      Lack of policy to manage toxic wastes in Imphal
                                                 City.                   

(4)    Demand No. 44-social welfare department :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding  Rs.56,36,92,000  be  granted  to defray the charges which  will  come  in  course  of  payment  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2007 in respect of Demand No. 44 - Social Welfare Department.”                   

(5)    Demand No. 46 -  SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding  Rs. 10,74,68,000  be  granted  to defray the charges which  will  come  in  course  of  payment  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2007 in respect of Demand No. 46 - Science and Technology.” 

                 (A)      MOTION  FOR TOKEN CUT :                                         
                        Shri  M. Nilchandra Singh, MLA to move :- 

                                             “ That the amount of the demand be reduced to Re. 100”.

                                             On Account of :

                                            (i)        Failure to release salary of employees ion time.
