           7.   (A) Discussion and voting on demands for excess grants, 1999-2000.

(1)    Demand No. 4 - LAND REVENUE, STAMPS & REGISTRATION AND DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

 “that  a  sum  not  exceeding  Rs. 99,67,902  be  granted  to meet the amount spent for defraying the charges  during the financial year ending31st March, 2000  in respect of Demand No. 4 - Land revenue, Stamps & Registration and District Administration."   

(2)    Demand No. 5 - FINANCE DEPARTMENT :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding  Rs. 81,52,51,969  be  granted  to meet the amount spent for defraying the charges  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2000  in respect of Demand No. 5 - Finance Department."

(3) Demand No. 20 - COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND ANP, IRDP AND NREP :

Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

 “that  a  sum  not  exceeding  Rs. 9,76,06,920  be  granted  to meet the amount spent for defraying the charges  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2000  in respect of Demand No. 20 - Community Development and ANP, IRDP and NREP.”  

 (4)  Demand No. 21 - COMMERCE & INDUSTRIES AND WEIGHTS & MEASURES DEPARTMENT :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding  Rs. 3,69,90,853  be  granted  to meet the amount spent for defraying the charges  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2000  in respect of Demand No. 21 - Commerce & Industries and Weights & Measures Department.”

(5)  Demand No. 23 - POWER :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding Rs. 40,77,18,192  be  granted  to meet the amount spent for defraying the charges  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2000  in respect of Demand No. 23 - Power.” 

(6)  Demand No. 25 - YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORT :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding Rs. 3,53,51,000  be  granted  to meet the amount spent for defraying the charges  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2000  in respect of Demand No. 25 - Youth Affairs and Sports.” 

(7)    Demand No. 29 - SALE TAX, OTHER TAXES/DUTIES
COMMODITIES AND SERVICES  :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding Rs. 14,62,428  be  granted  to meet the amount spent for defraying the charges  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2000  in respect of Demand No. 29 - Sale tax, Other Taxes/Duties on Commodities and Services.” 

(8)  Demand No. 33 - HOME GUARDS :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding Rs. 24,34,046  be  granted  to meet the amount spent for defraying the charges  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2000  in respect of Demand No. 33 - Home Guards.” 

(9)  Demand No. 34 - REHABILITATION :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding Rs. 30,97,842  be  granted  to meet the amount spent for defraying the charges  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2000  in respect of Demand No. 34 Rehabilitation.”

(10)  Demand No. 39 - SERICULTURE :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding Rs. 62,44,101  be  granted  to meet the amount spent for defraying the charges  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2000  in respect of Demand No. 39 - Sericulture.”

(11)  Demand No. 44 - SOCIAL WELFARE :

         Shri O. Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister to move : 

“that  a  sum  not  exceeding Rs. 93,33,085  be  granted  to meet the amount spent for defraying the charges  during the financial year ending 31st March, 2000  in respect of Demand No. 44 - Social Welfare.”
